BLACK FRIDAY
BLACK FRIDAY OFTEN CALLED THE BUSIEST SHOPPING DAY OF THE YEAR FOR CHRISTMAS SHOPPING. AFTER STUFFING MYSELF FULL OF THANKSGIVING DINNER. ARRIVED AT TOYS R US AT 10:30 PM THANKSGIVING EVENING TO FIND A EXTREMELY LONG LINE OF ANXIOUS SHOPPERS WAITING TO GET IN. DROVE PAST BEST BUY WHERE PEOPLE HAD PITCHED TENTS AND WHERE SITTING IN LAWN CHAIRS. ALSO DROVE PAST TARGET TO FIND A HANDFUL OF PEOPLE STANDING IN LINE. MIND YOU IT IS NOW GOING ON 11:00PM. LEFT ONLY TO WAKE UP AT 3:00 AM AND HEADED OUT TO KOHLS WHERE THERE WERE TONS OF SURPRISINGLY CALM PEOPLE I BLAME THIS ON BEING OUT OF TOWN (CHARLOTTE, N.C.) WHERE I THINK THE PEOPLE ARE A LITTLE MORE POLITE THAN (MARYLAND). THERE WERE GREETINGS OF GOOD MORNING AS WE WERE GETTING OUT OF THE CAR AND WELCOME TO KOHLS. MY SISTER IN LAW AND I EVEN KEPT OUR COMPOSURE WITH 3 KIDS WITH US. NEXT STOP WAS BEST BUY (6:00) WHERE THEY STILL HAD A LARGE SELECTION OF POPULAR ITEMS ON STOCK. IN THE END I'M HAPPY WITH THE BARGAINS THAT I SAVED ON.
