EXCUSE MY RANT BUT I DON'T THINK I'LL EVER TIRE OF SEEING IDRIS "I THINK I'M LOVE" ELBA ON ANY MAGAZINE COVER. British actor Idris Elba has had his share of memorable TV roles, from The Wire to The Office and now on his Emmy-nominated show Luther.
But it's not just his body of work that's got his fans intrigued.
So what does the sought-after star, 39, find sexy?
"Skin, I love beautiful skin," the actor tells Essence magazine in their November cover story. "I'm tactile, very tactile. A woman who has really nice, looked-after skin is such a turn-on for me. It's always sexy."
Sex-appeal aside, Elba is typically known as a tough guy in his TV roles. But there's one person with a real knack for turning him to mush: His daughter, Isan. "My daughter's with me now for three weeks and I love it; I absolutely love it," Elba tells the magazine. "I don't know how I'd manage to be on seven flights a month and still get her to school."
Isan, born in 2002, is Elba's daughter with ex-wife Dormowa Sherma. Both parents live in Atlanta, so Elba splits his time between that city and his native Britain.
"I'm grateful to my ex-wife, [Isan's] mother, and I'm grateful I get to live my dream. At the same time, I miss things, which I regret," he adds.
Elba can next be seen in the upcoming Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance and Prometheus.
