LAST WEEKEND I SPENT A DAY ON THE NEW HGTV SHOW CALLED SHOWHOUSE SHOWDOWN VERY ENJOYABLE EVENTHOUGH WE COULD NOT TAKE PICTURES I WAS ABLE TO GET SOME FROM THE SITE THERE ARE TWO TOWNSHOUSES THAT WERE DESIGNED AND AT THE END OF THE SHOW WE GET TO PICK WHICH ONE WE LIKED THE BEST.

Former Bachelor star Bob Guiney is set to host HGTV’s newest home makeover competition series, premiering on September 12.

Showcase Showdown sees local interior designers competing against other in American cities to complete 10 room makeovers. In every episode, two professional designers have the same budget and schedule to creatively design their newly-built, identical model homes.

Aiming to impress potential buyers in an open house tour, the winner will be determined by who gets the most votes from these potential buyers.

The design showdowns will take place across the U.S., from Oklahoma City, to Saginaw, Michigan.

“I love being in the middle of the action when I’m hosting Showhouse Showdown,” said Guiney. “For the designers, it’s a chance of a lifetime to showcase their talent on HGTV.”
