THE FLOWERS AND POSTERS LINES THE SIDEWALKS
THE MARQUEE AT THE APOLLO THEATER IN HARLEM
MY DAUGHTER IHANA WEARING HER MICHAEL JACKSON CAP
ON A RECENT TRIP TO NEW YORK CITY MY GIRLFRIEND WANTED TO STOP BY THE APOLLO THEATER TO TAKE PICTURES. THE CROWD WAS THERE PEOPLE CAME FROM NEAR AND FAR TO PAY RESPECTS TO THE GREATEST ENTERTAINER EVER. THERE WERE CAMERA CREWS PEOPLE DANCING AND MICHAEL JACKSON'S MUSIC PLAYING EVERYWHERE. THE AIR WAS FILLED WITH THE SCENT OF BOUQUETS OF ROSES THAT LINED THE SIDEWALK. VENDORS SELLING POSTER, BOOKMARKS, TSHIRTS, GLOVES VIDEOS AND TAPES. SOME IN DISBELIEF THAT MICHAEL JACKSON HAD PASSED IT. THE APOLLO THEATER WAS WHERE THE JACKSON 5 FIRST SHOWCASED THIER TALENT AS AN UP AND COMING GROUP.
