White House Social Secretary
Desiree Rogers has been appointed social secretary of the White House by President Elect Barack Obama. She will be head planner of every social event, dinner and event taking place at the White House.

I met Desire Rogers when she was an executive at People's Gas or Commonwealth Edison. She is a very gracious lady. I think she'll do fine in her new role.
