Diahann Carroll has been acting for more than 50 years. She was the first "Black Bitch" on TV'S DYNASTY, The First Black woman to win an Tony for best actress and the first black woman to star in her own TV show (Julia). Her new memoir The Legs Are the Last To Go: Aging, Acting, Marrying and other things I've Learned the Hard Way. In this book she paints a vivid picture of her affair with rising star Sidney Potier who was married and didn't want to leave his wife and he also didn't want to have anything to do with her small daughter.
