When Will the Cherry Blossoms Bloom?Washington, DC's cherry blossoms will hit their peak blooming period between March 27 - April 3 this year, according to the National Park Service chief horticulturist Robert DeFeo. They are considered to be at their peak when 70 percent of the blossoms are open and the blooming period can last up to 14 days
