Iconic 90s sitcom LIVING SINGLE turns 25 this month and TV One is celebrating the milestone with a MEGA MARATHON! Starting Friday, August 24 at and running through Sunday, August 26, at 5 a.m. ET, the marathon will begin and end with the first and final episodes of the series to include all 118 episodes in sequential order. Khadijah, Synclaire, Régine, Max, Kyle and Overton came onto the television scene and literally changed the game as characters in one of the first sitcoms to explore modern urban life through the stories of this hip, upwardly mobile circle of African American neighbors and friends on prime-time television.
Every night, beginning Friday, August 24 at 7/8 pm ET, TV One viewers can rediscover their favorite tv crew of Brooklyn strivers and celebrate Living Single’s silver anniversary in a Mega Marathon will feature fun facts and trivia questions to test fans’ knowledge of the popular series’ five-year run.
The celebration will continue off-air on tvone.tv where viewers can find recent interviews with the cast, featuring Kim Fields, Kim Coles, TC Carson and John Hinton, and connect with them on social media (@TVOne) where viewers can join the conversation using the hashtag #LIVINGSINGLE25 and #MEGAMARATHON.

The singer, actress and beauty mogul just made history by becoming the first black woman to land on the cover of British Vogue’s prestigious September issue in the publication’s entire 102 years of existence.
“I always knew it had to be Rihanna,” British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful said of his first September issue. “A fearless music-industry icon and businesswoman, when it comes to that potent mix of fashion and celebrity, nobody does it quite like her.”
Enninful styled the photo shoot by renowned fashion photographer Nick Knight. On the cover, Rihanna wears a pink tulle Prada dress and neon-orange gloves from her Savage x Fenty collection.
British Vogue’s 400-page September issue, which traditionally sets the tone for the upcoming fashion season, features Rihanna opening up about dating, and dishing out some pretty necessary advice.
“I think a lot of people meet people and then they’re dating the idea of what the person could become, and that person never shows up and then they’re just mad disappointed,” she says.
She adds: “A person can always get better, they can always get worse, but you’ve got to be fine with what you met them as.”
“No matter how haute the styling goes, or experimental the mood, you never lose her in the imagery,” he wrote. “She is always Rihanna. There’s a lesson for us all in that. Whichever way you choose to dress the new season, take a leaf out of her book and be yourself.”

It was just a few weeks ago that InStyle's editor-in-chief Laura Brown was enthusing about her magazine's upcoming "Badass Women" issue at Fashionista's annual conference, and now the issue is here for all to read. Serena Williams fittingly serves as the issue's cover girl, wearing a dress from The Row and a hat by Eric Javits in a shoot by Robbie Fimmano.
The cover story penned by Brown herself dives into Williams's experience as a new mother and, of course, her history as a champion tennis player, along with a few other things. In it, Williams discusses taking a pregnancy test and forgetting about it for hours, what she wore to the Royal wedding, pumping breast milk in the locker room before tennis matches and who tops her own badass women list (for the record, that would be Beyoncé, Rihanna and Kate Middleton).
Williams isn't the only "badass woman" profiled in the August issue, however. Monica Lewinsky, Aly Raisman, Helena Christensen, Hilary Swank, Andrea Mitchell, Ellen Barkin and Sasha Dorothy Lowuekuduk are also highlighted, representing the worlds of Hollywood, sports, animal welfare, politics and more.
